Rebuilding the Riverbank | Stream Bank Stabilization Project in Eastern Iowa
Years of rain and runoff had eroded this stretch of riverbank, eating away at valuable farmland and creating unsafe overhangs. Our crew was called in to restore stability, protect the property, and stop the erosion for good.
In this video, you’ll see the beginning stages of the project—excavators, dozers, and operators working together to:
Clear out trees and shrubs
Lay back and reshape the bank
Prepare the slope for rock and rip rap placement
It’s not just dirt work—it’s restoration. This kind of teamwork and precision keeps Eastern Iowa’s land strong for years to come.
